November Monthly Roundup

November Roundup Favorites

Hey-hey and Happy Holidays! Just one month left of 2017, what?! The other day I thought it was still June... then I went out to the crisp Wisconsin air and was quickly reminded that was not case.

If you're looking for suggestions in categories like Food and Drink, Makeup and Beauty, Home Decor and Products, Entertainment, or Clothing and Accessories, stick around.

Any Amazon links I share are affiliate links. This means the price of an item won't change for you, but I receive a small commission of the sale which helps keep my content free and my site up and running. Thanks!

Food and Drink

Funeral Potatoes - They might just be my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner! Cheesy, creamy, and crunchy. *kisses fingertips* Side note: who else fills up their plate with just side dishes and no turkey?

Cranberry everything - Whether it's the jelly-fied can stuff, mixed with gourmet cheeses, or in muffins, if cranberries are involved I want to eat it. I love the tangy sweetest and the deep... ugh, cranberry color.

Makeup and Beauty

Clean & Clear Acne Triple Clear Bubble Foam Cleanser - I've tried just about every face wash and cleanser on the market and y'all this stuff is magical. It doesn't dry my skin out and it's a bubbly fun foam.

Home Decor and Products

Board and Brush Sign - As I referenced in last month's roundup, I made my first board! Is it perfect? Nope, but it has character and I sanded, stained, drilled, and painted it myself. My co-workers and I made them during corporate training for new franchise owners and studio managers. I can't wait to do a full workshop and wine with my girl gang soon!

Emma Approved - Ok, this isn't a new find; in fact, I remember watching it as new episode were released back in 2013. Basically, "Emma Approved" is a modern day retelling of Jane Austen's Emma. And. I. love. it. Watch the first episode! 👇

P.S. Pemberley Digital also produced The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (Pride and Prejudice), Frankenstein, M.D. (Frankstein), The March Family Letters (Little Women), and Welcome to Sanditon (Austen's unfinished Sanditon).

Ungeniused podcast - Basically, two guys talk about strange Wikipedia articles for 10-15 minutes each month. You may be thinking, "that sounds hella boring." I promise it's not, I will give you that it is offbeat. My favorite episodes are on D.B. Cooper and The Great Molasses Flood. Go listen, now!

Clothing and Accessories

Duck Boots - I've worn these every day this month! My sister and I were gifted monogrammed pairs last Christmas. They're perfect for the season and a great gift.

Assisi Hat - Like my boots, I've worn this every day! I bought it last December in Assisi, even though it was made in China😂. It reminds me of that pilgrimage every time I wear it and how pilgrimage has been such an important theme this past year.

Silent Retreat in Door County - For those unfamiliar Wisconsin geography, Door County is the thumb-looking part of the state. I signed up for this retreat in mid-September. My original thought was along the lines of, "hmm, by mid-November I'll have been working at my previously job for about six weeks. I know I'll need some whitespace to process this transition."

Well, if you remember anything about my October, you know that I started at the previous job on the 2nd and resigned three and half weeks later to start and Board and Brush on the 31st. Let's just the Holy Spirit knew what He was doing with this one!

(This was also one of my 101 Things in 1001 Days; only 100 more to go!)

What did you round up this month?
